The Surroundings

The area of Vassilikos is about 15 km long and 4 km in width. Most places are within walking distance. Most apartments are near the main coastal road and no more than 5 minutes from the beach on foot. It is an eldorado for beach lovers. All along the 15 km coast the beaches are asking for your attention. The bays, the bars, the sun is all over.

But 2 km way west the small road will go up to sometimes 450 m into the hills that emerge from the sea at Gerakas untill Skopos (see the Map). This is a rough area, with very steep mountain roads that do not always lead to another crossing, but always to some beauitiful bays, deep blue water, white cliffs or other surprises that the area is full of!
